GEMINI WESLEY

  • While pursuing my undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, I was also playing collegiate soccer. Like most student-athletes, I was very comfortable eating almost whatever I wanted, never thinking that one day my eating habits might catch up to me. It wasn’t until I finished my master’s program that I noticed my lack of intense physical activity was leading to some weight gain. I took a deep dive into nutrition education while studying for my CSCS certification, and it wasn’t until then that I realized how much every little thing you put in your body counts. However, prior to that I tried all the fad diet tricks. I tried intermittent fasting, cutting carbs, and even explored the idea of Keto. It wasn’t until I decided to go with the “old-fashioned” calorie-deficit/caloric counting route that I saw results. My goal here is to help teach clients that there’s no need to over-complicate the weight-loss process. With proper daily movement and nutritional advice, I hope to help so many people reach their goals.
